Tablets can be provided with a transparent coating. The coating we use is mainly used to increase swallowing comfort and has a positive side effect; namely, the tablet is better protected against moisture; hence, it has a longer shelf life.

To be able to produce tablets with a coating, at least 50,000 tablets or more are required to schedule a coating session. During the coating process, the pills are sprayed with coating liquid, which is eventually applied to the pills using various techniques. Some raw materials - such as enzymes - are so sensitive to this liquid that it is not possible to coat such products.
